Now Kathy Griffin is a weirdo imo.. and I’ve never been a fan... but under our current circumstances ( #quarantinelife ) she sounds as crazy as I feel under these stay home orders with 4 young kids & no gym with kids club to go to, to relieve the stresses of the day...
#QuarantineLife is so boring for some people, they’re getting offended by a video from 20 years ago. Time for Carlin’s Chapter on Context (BTW - was Rock himself offended?). https://youtu.be/mUvdXxhLPa8 https://twitter.com/jimmyfallon/status/1265386757958389768 …

Having birthday doesn't change your day. You open social media the same more often but just with a little excitement.

We're almost there- summer is fast approaching (if it hasn't hit you already), and little by little things are starting to open up again #huzzah 🙌🏻. .
And even though summer won't be vastly different from our schedule now, I am excited and energized for the change. Have you decided what it will look like for you? Any new resolutions coming from this extra down time?
If you're waiting for permission to start something new, or could use an extra nudge, here it is (and, hot tip, you don't actually need permission 😜)
Sing the song
Plant the garden
Run the race
Build the life and the days you want
You don't ever have to show it to anyone
You don't ever have to sell it
You don't ever have to make it your profession
Just do the thing that calls to you, that burns in your soul and that you can't stop thinking about
It can be just for you
Do the thing that you could talk for hours about
or the thing you've never dared confess out loud to anyone
Sign up for the pottery class
Petition for the cause
Get that degree
Audition for the play
Plan the trip .
You have desires planted deep within you for a reason
Now go CREATE.

I was bored. So I processed some boards. And made a lap desk.
Then ate many root vegetables.

Bleaching my hair for the first time ever! I don't dye my hair. Ever. I've been wanting some type of change for so long. Unfortunately, I have waited until #quarantinelife was a thing… https://www.instagram.com/p/CArVcdLpO7csRAxCQMHj8pKTMJbwAh_4lCQpNs0/?igshid=1tgf7ifytmob7 …
What’s kept me sane during quarantine? Yoga and walking.
I often get asked, what’s your go to workout? And if you had asked me that question a couple of years ago, I would have listed a number of HIIT workouts like Barry’s, Soul Cycle, Precision Running, and the list goes on.. I used to be all about how many calories I could burn in an hour class and for some reason I thought that DEFINED me. And if I didn’t work out, I was a failure. I didn’t feel good in my own skin, I was exhausted and my body hurt. I also had an appetite I couldn’t control. Instead of eating consistently and intuitively, I’d deplete myself then eat so much I wouldn’t have the energy to do anything. It was a constant merry go round and I finally had enough.
Everything changed when I discovered my love for the reformer. I ditched my equinox membership and joined a Pilates studio right by my apartment and my mind and body transformed. I had always been into yoga but thought I needed to run before or after a class to really “count” it as a workout. Boy was I wrong. Quarantine hasn’t been a huge change for me because I’m able to continue my yoga practice in the comfort of my own bedroom and have even more time to walk outside. Now that I’ve slowed down, I have more control over my body and feel so energized. I eat more than ever but it’s consistent and I don’t ever have the crazy binges like before. I trust my body and I give it the nourishment it needs. If you ask any of my friends or roommates they’ll tell you that I’m constantly sneaking off to the kitchen 😂. By restoring my relationship with my body and mind, I’ve finally found peace with the woman I am today 🧘🏻♀️
Let’s play a game of ‘what’s your insecurity’. That sounds fun 🤓 ⠀
My insecurity is basically missing out on taco Tuesday. And I think that’s way more important than cellulite and a big nose. Cause my ass is my ass and I ain’t changin’ my face anytime soon. ⠀
I think we should all commit to better insecurities. Cause in my opinion, back fat, wrinkles and thighs that rub together are really beautiful. Fight me. 🤸🏼♀️🍋
