Here's a side-by-side comparison of two #surveillance playback timelines between the hours of 8pm and 12am. Can you tell which one uses standard pixel-based #motiondetection and which one is the smart motion detection of our #activedeterrence cameras?
Standard security cameras use pixel movement to detect motion. Anytime the pixels change, the camera thinks motion is happening. This is great, in that it picks up any motion happening in the camera's frame. But it can also be unhelpful, since it will trigger a notification or alarm for any kind of movement, whether it's shifting shadows, birds flying by, dust floating around the camera's lens.
If you want to get rid of false motion detection alarms, you should check out our Active Deterrence line of cameras. These cameras actually use intelligent filters to decide which movement is important (based on human and vehicle recognition) and which movement is irrelevant.
What's your #surveillance style? Do you prefer your #securitycameras to fade unnoticed into the background? Or would you rather make your cameras stand out as much as possible? This is the difference between a passive deterrence system and an active deterrence system.
This week at Nelly's Security we're going to talk all about #activedeterrence.
✨November is Falls Prevention Month!✨
Let’s talk about Falls Detection Devices!
Research shows that they don’t work but we think this is only partly true because often it’s the individual that doesn’t want to work with the device.
🤷♀️ So WHY don’t they want to work with a fall detection device?
Many falls detection devices are bulky, ugly and need be to charged too often! They can make users feel uncomfortable to wear because of their size and inability to wear it hidden.
⌚️ At Invisible-Care, we pair our monitoring system with your wearable smartwatch device, so you don’t have to give up fashion for safety.
⌚️ Your client can wear their smartwatch and know that support is there from our Care Partner.
👥 When Invisible-Care is paired with PSW services, your client has 24HOUR/ 7 DAYS A WEEK of monitoring!
