I’ve been able to catch up on my reading list thanks to
@skullcandy available at @BestBuy. I also use them to listen to my favorite songs and podcasts of course. They’re water resistant too, which is a major bonus especially while being active this summer. They’re super comfortable to wear, I don’t have to worry about losing connection or while being active having to worry about them falling out my ears. The battery life lasts for up to 12 hours, and they come with a charging chase, that fits perfectly pretty much anywhere.

“Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply.” -Stephen R. Covey
QOTD: When was the last time you listened to a story? Audiobooks... campfire spooky tales... a person's long story about their experience... any of them count for this... and was it fun?
We are talking formats here... and I am going to be that annoying person for a moment and talk about why I think Audiobooks are great... So often, exactly like the quote says, we only listen in order to reply, we don't simply listen in order to understand. Listening to audio books means we have to listen to understand. We can rewind and play it back if we need to, but there really isn't time to respond, just like physically reading, until the very end. It's a minor skill, but it can make a huge difference because focusing in on what a narrator is actually saying is essential to truly understand an audiobook. Granted there are some narrators that simply don't do a book justice, but that's a different story all together!
#readgushlove For the Love of Books: which format? I think they all have a place in my library! I personally like the way hardbacks look on my shelves the most, but I don't ignore a format just because... 🌼
