Monday Words of Wisdom
Let It Go - will be difficult for many of us, but will be necessary if we are to continue moving forward! As we approach and finish each day, we must do our best to cleanse our minds of anything negative or toxic, “Let It Go!” If we choose to fixate on our past and “if I could just change that one thing,” it will only feed what is holding us back and keep us from advancing forward, “Let It Go!” Harboring difficult periods in our lives can only lead to unhappy days, weeks, months, or years, “Let It Go!” If we are to discover life’s true meaning and the many blessings available to us, we will have to learn, and be willing to, “Let It Go!
Today is a new day and a blessing. Let’s continue to move forward and be grateful! “Don’t Give It Power!”

Today's Color: Gray. Humility is a dying concept, and it's important to remember that we should hold ourselves to the same standard we hold others to. Who's life did you enrich today? What words of encouragement have you offered? The best place to look for answers is your mirror. pic.twitter.com/M1rQcDSPpQ
He is our waymaker, our miracle worker. He is our promise keeper, our light in the darkness.
Don’t ever lose sight of who He is.
Don’t ever forget of how He’s been so good in our life.
Never doubt, trust in His unfailing love.
We’ll get through this.
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37

On the night of April 3, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King gave his final speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop.” In it, he hints that he believed he might not live long. He said, “We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn’t matter with me now. Because I’ve been to the mountaintop. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. . . . [But] I’m happy tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.” The next day, he was assassinated.
The apostle Paul, shortly before his death, wrote to his protégé Timothy: “I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. . . . Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day” (2 Timothy 4:6, 8). Paul knew his time on earth was drawing to a close, as did Dr. King. Both men realized lives of incredible significance, yet never lost sight of the true life ahead. Both men welcomed what came next.
Like them, may we “fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). From odb.org
Monday: The Widow’s Offering
It is easy to give out of our abundance such as out of our financial security or sparing a minute or two when our schedule is wide open. However, God is not interested in what we do with our abundance. He is much more concerned about who we are in our poverty and what we do in our inconvenience. Will we give when we have nothing to give? Will we love when our heart is filled with rage? Will we forgive those who have hurt us? In the midst of our poverty, will we give our pennies?

'Your dream has to be bigger than your fear.'
~ Steve Harvey
Isn't this a great quote for the current time? I don't know about you, but I have days where I am filled with fear because of the uncertainty. I have a daily practice of journaling my goals and I'll be honest, I've had quite a few days here lately where I bypassed the practice, not because I am giving up, but because I've felt lost and scared.
But Steve is right, your dream HAS to be bigger than your fear. Wouldn't you agree?
Make it a Great day! 💕🎉

What are you missing today? It’s okay to recognize that missing the little things isn’t selfish during these times. I miss my favorite breakfast restaurant and walking the historic neighborhoods in downtown Phoenix. Two of my favorite weekend activities. ✨
If you are reading this and are sad my encouragement to you is that … to know pain, you must first know how to love. Only the absence of love causes pain. So, go find it. Seek love in everything, even in a teacup.https://www.duffywords.com/
Every time I take a shower, it's a therapy session for me and it has treated me so well. I've been connected with water since a child so that helps out too. I talk to The Most High about my issues and in turn get spiritual encouragement. There's healing in the water

I am blown away! This is a war speech. Encouragement to pull together as a people. Fight the enemy and know that all will come out for good in the end. Inspiring!
A. The fact that you admire and respect someone doesn't mean that you can't disagree or even be annoyed by what he posted.
B. I believe it was meant as encouragement even though I think the most important thing is "surviving" and there's no need to put pressure on achievement >>
This was part of my homework this week and it was so powerful! I encourage you to try it out every day this week and see your mindset shift.
We can not look through a lens of fear and hopelessness when we are meditating on all that God is. 💛
Take Charge Aries:
Do not be sad. Here's why.
Believe it or not these two pictures are related. All those symptoms to the left are "to the left.. to the left " Beyonce style. She chooses to still have joy in spite of. Those bowls on the ground represent the ideas on the left. "I choose to dance," she says to herself. Rise above disappointments in ecstacy. Dance over your troubles. Confuse the ones who thought you would kill yourself after the situations you've endured. Confuse the bullies trying to bring you down. Confuse those that made you sad or regretful. Dance! Laugh! Turn up good music! Forgive yourself. You were not born to be perfect. Forgive others. Give new mercies each day to yourself and others. Dance!

The world 🌎 has changed these last few weeks, and when things change around us, inevitably so do we. How have you been coping? Where are you on the change curve? Maybe still in denial in some parts of your life? Maybe acceptance or commitment even?
The interesting thing about the human mind is that it's never, ever linear - it's unlikely that you are perfectly in acceptance of what is happening 24/7, and that is OKAY. 👌🏾However, this should not be a reason to say "screw it" and let go of your mental health. Now more than ever, it's important to hold ourselves accountable for our actions.
What does this mean for you? 🤔Do you need to do home workouts like everyone else seems to be? Do you need to watch your finances because of the uncertainty around us? Do you need to find a new hobbie, read all the books, be extra productive or "make sure you have a routine"?
Well, it depends. If all of these things make you feel more at peace and happier with the current situation, by all means, do it all. But for some of us, most of us even, if we weren't doing most of these things before, it's really hard to start them now. Instead of asking what should you do and compare to others, ask yourself: What CAN I do that makes me comfortable and peaceful at the moment? 💪🏼
Instead of trying to do it all, focus on the 2️⃣ or 3️⃣ things that you know will make the most difference.
If your comfort is relying on shopping, or alcohol, or food, but you have regret creeping in the morning after, your focus might have to be on reducing this crutch and only causes more unhappiness in the long-term.
This period will end, and you'll be okay, eventually. When that happens, you'll want to make sure that you can pick up your life outside where you left it, with your mind as healthy as can be. 🙂Stay safe, stay at home if you can, and look after your beautiful self. 😘
Kak Joyie my mami kambing I wanna say thank you so much for your kindness. Thank you for the help and support you have given to me through these past 2 months
