Today I hit my goal of working out 4 days this week . 4 straight days! I’m chuffed man! ☺️ Oh it might look small to someone but coming from a long hiatus to this is a big deal for me. I was so self conscious at the gym, kept thinking what others thought of me , yet each day I went back . Even made it to a group class. A trainer who knows well from a year or 2 ago took the class and I nearly bolted but I stayed. To make it worse, the gym resistance band for the class workout snapped as I did my reps. My fat thighs won’t let me be great 😩I was so embarrassed 🤦♀️ but I carried on like I couldn’t be bothered😂 I had work and my study that tired me out, waking up at 2/3am every morning to study before heading to work, yet I freaking showed up each day. 💪🏾 Look, it’s so easy to focus on the things that are not working (like the silly scale that isn’t moving as fast 🙄 ) that you forget the ones that you are doing well at. I know I need to do better with my water and snacking , yes, but hey I did well with my workouts and I’m super proud of myself 😎
If you are starting over , having a rough week and finding it hard but still showing up, pat yourself on the back, celebrate your not so small wins . You are doing so well and I’m rooting for you too. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

“I need to get more information.”
“I’ll get it done tomorrow.”
“I need to map out the steps before I can start.”
To some people, these are the roadblocks they might face to start something.
To me, it’s just plain excuses, justifications and bullshit.
How often do we hear these excuses when people procrastinate and not getting things done?
The truth is... most of the time people are overloaded with information.
They read books, attend seminars and listen to podcasts but they put nothing to practice.
Information hoarders - that’s who they are.
Trust me when I say this...
This is one of the biggest reasons why many people fail in reaching their goals.
Because nothing happens when you are not taking any action.
Hoarding on to as much information you obtain from motivational quotes, books or learning from mentors will not generate any result in your life if you are not implementing it.
Taking massive action is something that you can’t remove from the success equation.
So how would you choose differently today?

#tbt To the Aloha 10/k. This post is important to me because back in May I couldn’t run a mile. Although I’ve workout most of my life I had become sedentary and a work-a-holiday. I weighed the most I’ve ever weighed and felt awful. Fast forward to September 8, 2019 22LBs lights and 6.2 miles faster. (9:14 min miles to be exact). It’s all about the journey remember that there is no instant fix, magic pill or shake. It’s small habits built up daily over time that add up. Enjoy the journey and be kind to yourself. I also recommend enlist all your friends and family to support your goals!! 🙏
STOP YOUR KNEE PAIN...
My client @kirstiemcgarrity had knee pain when she exercised and especially when she performed squats.
I took her through some elements of the squat and to show her to stop the knee pain from happening.....
She went to a class the NEXT DAY❗️❗️ 😱😱😱
No pain in her knee 🙌🙌🙌
Kept the coaching simple with a few cues so Kirstie could go off and do this on her own and this is the result.
Quality from Kirstie 👏👏👏
Get in contact if you or anyone has knee pain and seems to disrupt your training or just daily lives 🙌
Consistency + Effort + Hard Work + Intent = SUCCESS

It’s been a hectic day as you can tell I haven’t been posting on my story as much as usual.
Please bear in mind I’ve never sat down and thought about what to be grateful for etc. I never really understand why it was important, two how to do it and three I thought it was for hippy dippy people. I now see that it’s not and everyone should take time to look at things they can be grateful for in their lives even during the dark times.
However I am now taking the time to rest. Do my Miracle Morning (my Exceptional Evening). These are supposed to be done in the morning and I definitely will be doing them in the morning from tomorrow onwards.
Doing it in the evening is allowing me to reflect and be grateful for the day and everything I was able to achieve.
I’ve never sat down and thought about things to be grateful for but now I am and bear in mind I can be a bit of a pessimist when it comes to see the greatness in my life (I’m sure I’m not alone). I’m seeing the amazing things and people that I have in my life and truly appreciate them.
What are you grateful for?
