My community has been fed a narrative that it is somehow racist to advocate for requiring an I.D. to vote. That’s not true.
Having a state I.D. is so important. With that I.D., you’ll be able to have access to so much more. So if elected, I want to have I.D. registration days. Similar to voter registration, I want us to come out into the communities, set up shop, and help people especially in low income neighborhoods, register for state I.D.’s. I want my community to have access to the same resources that so many Americans enjoy. #WilsonNC2020#BeAVoiceNotAnEcho#BeAVictorNotAVictim
